Information and Referral has been an integral part of the Nanaimo & Region Disability Resource Centre's programs since 1990. Our program coordinator has been with us for more than 11 years and knows the resources available in our community.
If you need to know who to contact, how to get information, or to get an application form that deals with issues faced by people living with a disability, we provide disability-related information to individuals and groups. The Centre houses a large number of pamphlets, brochures, and forms. We provide information on services and resources available to people living with a disability from local, provincial, and federal governments.
Raising Awareness through presentations
Provide interactive presentations to various community groups and organizations to speak about our programs and services as well as consumer rights and entitlements
